Honourable Dr. Phenyo Butale, Minister for International Relations, participated in the opening ceremony of the 2026 Korea-Africa Business Forum on 2 June 2026.

The Forum brought together Korean and African business leaders and enterprises to share experiences, explore areas of mutual interest, and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and investment.

On the sidelines of the Forum, Honourable Dr. Butale also held bilateral meetings with senior executives of leading Korean companies to discuss avenues for enhanced economic cooperation, trade, investment, and business partnerships between Botswana and the Republic of Korea.
